Reagan’s Birthday Centennial.

When Reagan was still President, my cousin said he was evil.

“I don’t know about that,” I said. “He’s just stupid. It’s not a sin to be stupid.”

“I’m so tired of people saying that!” said my cousin. “It is a sin to be stupid. It’s the worst sin there is!”

He had a point.

One Response to Reagan’s Birthday Centennial.

  1. I suppose it ultimately depends on how one defines evil, but by most common measures, Reagan did much that would be considered evil by any man who was less supported by apologists. For instance, poverty increased under his administration after having systematically fallen since Johnson. And that increase was at least in part from Reagan’s attack on anti-poverty programs.
